CHESHIRE- Mary Lou Pellegrino, 59, passed away after a brief and courageous battle with cancer Thursday August 18, 2016 at Waterbury Gardens.

She was born February 22, 1957 in New Haven daughter of Dorothy (Costello) and the late Louis Pellegrino.

Mary enjoyed painting and was a lover of all animals. She will be remembered as a cherished daughter, loving sister and a wonderful aunt.

In addition to her mother, Dorothy Pellegrino, Mary is survived by her brother, Dr. Joseph and his wife, Dr. Barbara Pellegrino of Woodbridge, VA; three sisters, JoAnn LaGuardia of Little Rock, AR, Susan Pellegrino of Cheshire and Catherine Latorre of Cheshire; two nieces, Dr. Heather LaGaurdia of Little Rock, AR and Gabriella Pellegrino of Woodbridge, VA; and four nephews, Dr. Stephen LaGuardia, his wife, Virginia and their son, Gabriel of New Orleans, LA, Mikhail Pellegrino of Woodbridge, VA, Juan Latorre of Brooklyn, CT and Louis Latorre of Cheshire.

Arrangements- Calling hours for Mary will be held 8:30 A.M to 10:15 A.M Saturday, August 20, 2016 at The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main St, 06410. Her funeral procession we leave the funeral home at 10:30 A.M and proceed to St. Thomas Becket Church, 435 North Brooksvale Rd, Cheshire, CT 06410 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 A.M. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery, 700 Middletown Ave, North Haven, 06473. Donations in her name may be to The Harold Leever Regional Cancer Center, 1075 Chase Parkway Waterbury, CT 06708 or to St. Thomas Becket Church, 435 N. Brooksvale Road, Cheshire, CT 06410.
