WEST HAVEN- MaryJane DeAngelis, 76, passed away peacefully on Saturday July 16, 2016.
She was born February 10, 1940 daughter of the late Thomas and Lillian (Walker) Barry.
Ms. DeAngelis was employed as a Sales Associate in the Retail Industry for many years prior to her retirement. Above all she will always be known for the love she showed her children and grandchildren, and her devotion to the Catholic Church.
MaryJane is survived by her two daughters Lynne and her husband Richard Swetz of Oxford, and Susan and her husband Salvatore Savo of Ansonia; her son John DeAngelis of West Haven; a sister Shirley Punch of Orange; her grandchildren Anthony and his wife Casey Savo, Salvatore Savo Jr.and his companion Danae Monroe , and Dani and James DeAngelis; and her great granddaughter Savannah Marie Savo. She was predeceased in death by her brother Thomas Barry, and sister Evelyn Paris.
Arrangements- Calling hours for Ms. DeAngelis will be held from 5 to 8 P.M, Tuesday July 19, 2016 at The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main Street, 06410. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 A.M Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at Our Lady of Victory Church, 600 Jones Hill Road, West Haven, CT 06516. Family and friends are asked to meet directly at church. Burial will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery, 280 Derby Ave, West Haven, CT 06516. Donations in her name may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 200 Executive Blvd S #4b, Southington, CT 06489, or to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, www.jdrf.org/donate/.com.
