WATERBURY - Mary McKeown, 68, passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at the Glendale Center in Naugatuck. She was the wife of the late Leon C. McKeown, who passed away in 2005.
Mrs. McKeown was born December 16, 1949 in Waterbury, the daughter of the late John and Helen Licnikas. She was a longtime Waterbury resident and graduate of Wilby High School. She enjoyed crochet and various arts and crafts. She had worked for various home healthcare agencies throughout the area.
She is survived by her son Kenneth Sweet and his wife Keara of Waterbury; her grandchildren Olivia and Kenneth Sweet Jr. Besides her parents and her husband, she is predeceased by her brother Lawrence Licnikas.
Arrangements – Funeral services and burial will be held at a later date in St. James Cemetery and there are no calling hours. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Naugatuck is assisting with arrangements.
