WOLCOTT - Mary (Olshefski) Gray, 85, passed away April 17, 2016 at St. Mary’s Hospital. Mrs. Gray was the widow of Thomas Z. Gray, whom she married in 1951.

Mrs. Gray was born July 26, 1930 in Waterbury, the daughter of the late Emilia and John Olshefski. She attended local schools, a graduate of Crosby High School, 1948. She moved to Wolcott in 1960 with her husband and raised their family there. She was employed at Devon Precision Industries for 23 years before retiring in 1997. Mary was active with the Associated Bible Students of Waterbury for most of her life and associated with a large family of Brethren in fellowship, especially throughout the Eastern states. Her strong faith centered in God’s Divine Plan of the Ages for all.

She leaves a son, Timothy A. Gray (Gail) of Wolcott; her daughters, Janet L. Muniz (Marty) of Renton, WA. and Nancy E. Gray (Paul Green) with whom she made her home in Wolcott. Two grandchildren who were very special to her, Michael T. Homewood of Joppa, MD, and Sara E. Voghel (Nick) of Wolcott, and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by three sisters, Bette O’Connor of Waterbury, Ann Mazanski of Naugatuck, and Frances Crandall of Smithville, TN, and her brother John J. Olshefski of Waterbury.

Arrangements – Funeral services will be held on Saturday April 23, 2016 at 12:30pm at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Waterbury, 9 Holmes Ave. Visitation will be held on Saturday morning from 11 a.m. until the start of the service. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Edgewood Cemetery, Wolcott. Memorial contributions may be made to Waterbury Bible Students, P.O. Box 1494, Waterbury, CT 06721 or to Wolcott Volunteer Ambulance, P.O. Box 6066, Wolcott, CT 06716.
