Mary DiGidio Calaluce

CHESHIRE - Mary DiGidio Calaluce, passed away peacefully, on Sunday, November 1st (All Saints Day) with her family by her side.

Born on August 4, 1923, in Newark, New Jersey, Mary resided in Cheshire for the past 37 years. Mary joins her predeceased husband who she was happily married to for 45 years. She remains alive in the loving memory of her two sons and female partners, four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and two special caregivers. Mary was a devout Catholic who cherished her family. She was proud of her Italian heritage enjoyed cooking, listening to her favorite music, and watching her New York Yankees. Mary will always be remembered for her famous Sunday dinner of macaroni and meatballs. She valued education and held very strong opinions on world events. We always treasured her stories of the old days, every story ending with “it’s a different world today.” She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
