Hamden ' Mary K. Costello, 64, of Whitney Ave., passed away Sunday August 30, 2009 at Yale New Haven Hospital.
Ms. Costello was born September 29, 1944 in New Haven the daughter of the late Michael and Katherine (Gillen) Costello. She worked in the Admissions Department at Southern Connecticut State University for 25 years until her retirement in 2005.
Ms. Costello is survived by several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brother William Costello and her sister Margaret Lancaster.
Arrangements ' A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2009 at 11 a.m. at St. Bridget Church, 175 Main St., Cheshire. Friends are asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will follow in St. Bridget Cemetery. There are no calling hours. The Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St. is in charge of arrangements.
