Pinellas Park, FL - Marviel Gonzalez, 51, formerly of Waterbury, passed away Wednesday November 7, 2012 at St. Petersburg General Hospital. She was the wife of Victoriano Gonzalez.
Marviel was born May 3, 1961 in Silver Creek, NY, the daughter of Alba (Flor) Quiroz and the late Gilberto Quiroz. She was a 1982 graduate of Kennedy High School and was a Waterbury resident before moving to Florida 18 years ago. During her years in Florida she was active with the Jehovah Witnesses.
Besides her mother and her husband, Marviel is survived by her sister Lucy and her Husband Ramon Gonzalez of Waterbury; her niece and nephew Haley and Alex; as well as many Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
Arrangements - Funeral services will be held on Wednesday November 21, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Alderson Funeral Home of Waterbury, 9 Holmes Ave. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
