Marie Amedy

NAUGATUCK- Mrs. Amedy was born in Bridgeport, Oct. 2, 1937, a daughter of the late Anthony and Jean (Albanese) DeCarlo and was educated in the Bridgeport school system. She was a graduate of Central High School in Bridgeport and had been a Bridgeport resident, for many years, moving to Naugatuck, 35 years ago.

She leaves a son, Edmund Rioux of Seymour; 3 daughters, Gina M Rioux Gabriel of Torrington, Alaina Amedy Paul of Naugatuck, and Nancee Amedy of Seymour; one brother, Gary DeCarlo of Shelton, and Delilah LePone of Torrington and 4 grandchildren

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.

The Alderson Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. is assisting the family with all the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to The American Diabetes Assoc.-Conn. Affiliate, Inc., 2080 Silas Deane Highway, Suite 201, Rocky Hill, CT 06067-2334.
