Maria Antonia 'Nonna' Ruscitti

CHESHIRE- Maria Antonia Ruscitti, 90, passed away Sunday July 17, 2016 at her residence. She was predeceased by her husband Nicola Antonio Ruscitti.

Mrs. Ruscitti was born May 3, 1926 in Alivgnano, Italy, daughter of the late Giovanni and Mariaangela (Ianniello) Caracciolo.

Maria had a passion for gardening, cooking, and loved to read. Above all she loved spending time with her family.

Mrs. Ruscitti is survived by her son Salvatore and his wife Debora Ruscitti of Cheshire; grandchildren Maria Veneranda Ruscitti and her husband Nicolas Ludwig, Gabriella Ruscitti-Leonetti and her husband Adam Leonetti, and Nicoletta Ruscitti Murphree and her husband Mark Murphree; and her great grandchildren Colin, Gemma, Isabella, and Louis. She was predeceased by her daughter Veneranda Ruscitti.

Arrangements- Calling hours will be held 9 A.M, Wednesday July 20, 2016 at The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main St, 06410, until the procession leaves for a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Bridget Church, 175 Main Street, Cheshire, 06410 at 11 A.M. Entombment will follow in All Saints Cemetery, 700 Middletown Ave, North Haven, CT 06473.
