Marguerite A. Crandall

PROSPECT - Marguerite Crandall, 86, passed away Friday, April 3, 2015 in Farmington. She was the beloved wife of 60 years to the late Robert D. Crandall Sr.

Mrs. Crandall was born June 10, 1928 in Hartford, the daughter of the late Cassiodoro and Francesca (Giovannucci) Delgiudice. She worked for over 27 years as a school bus driver until her retirement in 2002.

Mrs. Crandall is survived by her children Robert D. Crandall Jr. and wife Lena of Plantsville, William J. Crandall and wife Donna of Bristol, Judy E. Bruni and husband Robert of Wolcott, Francesca M. Crandall of Prospect; her nine grandchildren, Robert Crandall III, Lisa Crandall, Richard Crandall, Michael Crandall, Katrina Crandall, Terren Emery, Jason Bruni, Ariel Bruni, and Ryan Bruni; and her eleven great-grandchildren.

Arrangements – Funeral services will be held 11:00 am on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home, 615 South Main Street, Cheshire. Burial will follow in Cheshire Hillside Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Wednesday morning from 9 to 11a.m. at the funeral home.
