Margarite Rubino

CHESHIRE - Margarite F. Rubino, 90, passed away Tuesday February 15, 2011 at the Hospital of St Raphael in New Haven.

Mrs. Rubino was born March 1, 1920 in New Haven the daughter of the late Pasquale and Mary (Christoforo) Errico. She was an Inspector for Seamless Rubber Company in New Haven for over 35 years. After her retirement, she was a Volunteer Grandmother for the Children's Center in Hamden where she was recognized by former First Lady Nancy Reagan. She was a member of the Cheshire Senior Center where she enjoyed Bingo as well as meeting her friends for meals at the Dragon Buffett.

Her family would like to thank the staff of St. Raphael's for their kindness and support throughout her illness.

Mrs. Rubino is survived by her daughter Charlotte Devine and her husband Jerry of Cheshire; her grandchildren Tracy Devine, Darcy Kennedy and Sean Devine; and her two great grandchildren Patrick and Danielle. She was predeceased by her brother Ben Errico and her sister Patty Cacace.

Arrangements - Funeral services will be held on Friday February 18, 2011, 10:15 from the Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire to St. Bridget Church for Mass at 11 a.m. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in St. Lawrence Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Friday morning at the funeral home from 9:30 until the funeral procession leaves for church.
