WATERBURY- Margaret C. Mayo, 89, passed away Friday, February 17, 2012 at The Cheshire House in Waterbury. She was the widow of Dana H. Mayo.
She was born October 16, 1922 in Derby daughter of the late John E. and Viola (Davis) Moriarty.
Margaret was a graduate of Wilby High School. She sung with the Pine Valley Drifters a local singing group during the 1940's.
She is survived by a son Dana Mayo of West Springfield, MA; a brother Jack and his wife Marion Moriarty of Waterbury; and a granddaughter Jessica.
Arrangements- Funeral services for Margaret are private. Burial will be held at the convienience of the family. There are no calling hours. The Mulville Funeral Home, 270 West Main St, 06710 is in charge of the arrangements. Donations in Margaret's name may be made to The Cheshire House, 3396 East Main St, Waterbury, CT 06705.
