CHESHIRE - Madeline J. “Monie” Bailey, 90, passed away Saturday, February 20, 2016 at the Hospital of Central CT. Ms. Bailey was born June 28, 1925 in New London, the daughter of the late Wallace T. and Lena (Belland) Bailey.
She was an SNET employee for many years and a longtime Cheshire resident where she was a communicant of St. Thomas Becket Church. She was also a member of the Telephone Pioneers.
She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law Wallace and Bette Ann Bailey of Plantsville as well as several nieces and nephews and their families.
Arrangements - A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday February 23, 2016 at 10 a.m. at St. Thomas Becket Church, 435 N. Brooksvale Rd. Friends are asked to meet directly at church. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery, North Haven and there are no calling hours. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire is assisting with arrangements.
