MIDDLEBURY- Mrs. Lynn (Millen) Simon, 76, of Middlebury, passed away Monday afternoon, Feb. 13, 2012 at her home. She was the beloved wife of Aaron E. Simon.

Mrs. Simon was born in New Haven, May 9, 1935, a daughter of the late Lewis and Sylvia (Litzky) Millen and was educated in the New Haven school system. She was a graduate of Hillhouse High School and the Conn. College for Women. She had been a resident of Middlebury for over 45 years having formerly lived in Waterbury and Watertown. She was a member of Temple B'Nai Israel of Southbury, and a member of the Sisterhood of the Temple. She was a life member of Hadassah, and a member of the Country Club of Waterbury, where she had been a member of the 9 holers. She enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her Grandchildren.

Besides her husband of 54 years, she leaves her loving children, a son, Michael Simon and his wife Lisa of Needham, Mass.; two loving daughters, Lisa Simon-Goldberger and her husband Marc Goldberger of Raleigh, NC and Carol Simon and her partner, Johanna DiCarlo of Ashland, Mass.; a sister Jane and her husband Peter Cohen of Medford, N.J. and 5 adoring grandchildren, Danielle Goldberger, Zachery Goldberger, Tyler Goldberger, Rebecca Simon and Andrew Simon; two Brother-In-Laws Sherman Krevolin of Woodbridge, and Jerry Weinstein of Woodbridge; and Sister-In-Law Evelyn Krevolin of Woodbridge.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at Temple B'Nai Israel, 444 Main St. North, Southbury. Burial will follow in Brass City Lodge Cemetery, Stillson Rd, Waterbury. Shiva will be observed at the Simon residence, 156 Skyline Dr., Middlebury on Wednesday and Thursday evenings with a Shiva Minyan at 7 p.m. Donations in Lynn's name may be made to VNA- Hope Team, 50 Brookside Road, Waterbury, CT 06708, or The Harold Leever Cancer Center, 1075 Chase Parkway, Waterbury, CT 06708.
