Luella Clemons

CHESHIRE; Mrs. Luella (Boydston) Clemons 91, of Cheshire passed away Saturday July 10, 2010 at the Masonic Health Center in Wallingford. She was the widow of Ward Clemons, Sr.

Mrs. Clemons was born July 24, 1918 in New Haven a daughter of the late Floyd and Anna (Gray) Boydston and was employed as a billing clerk for New Haven Railroad retiring after many years of service. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Alice Chapter #76 of Hamden, as well as a member of Saint Peter's Episcopal Church of Cheshire.

She leaves her daughters, Diane Clemons of Acworth, NH and Nancy Delorme of Sacramento, CA, her sister Eunice Grant of Assonet, MA, four grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Ward Clemons, Jr.

Graveside services in Saint Peter's Cemetery for Mrs. Clemons will be held at a time to be announced. There are no calling hours.
