CHESHIRE- Lucy V. Horvath, 92, passed away Saturday October 13, 2012 at The Highlands Health Care Center. She was the widow of Stephen J. Horvath.
She was born April 29, 1920 in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of the late Joseph and Dionicia Denicola.
Lucy was a Manager at the WT Grant Company prior to her retirement. She was a communicant of The Church of the Epiphany, was a member of the Cheshire Senior Center, and played Bingo at St. Beckett's Church every Thursday.
She is survived by two sons John Horvath of Southington, and Thomas Horvath of Cheshire; five grandchildren Debbie Lou and spouse Leslie, Barbie and spouse Christopher, Tommy, Ryan, and Randee; and three great grandchildren Brandon, Alyssa, and Dakota; four nieces Marie, Theresa, RoseMarie, and Colleen; and her devoted dog Abby. She was predeceased by eight siblings.
Arrangements- A memorial service for Lucy will be private. There are no calling hours. The Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main St, is in charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers donations in her name may be made to Cheshire Senior Center,240 Maple Ave, Cheshire 06410.
