CHESHIRE - Lucille Krasnovsky, 97, passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at home in Cheshire surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Fred Krasnovsky.

Lucille was born January 2, 1920 in Waterbury, a daughter of the late Henry and Eugenie (Martel) Charron. She cherished her time with her family and friends, especially during the holidays. She was creative in everything she did, cooking, decorating, and designing. She enjoyed traveling, mostly to her home on Cape Cod. She was known for her keen wit and could always put a smile on everyone’s face.

Lucille is survived by her two sons, Fred, and his wife Elizabeth and Michael, and his wife Doreen, three daughters, Joan Wrynn, and her husband Jim, Susan Flavin, and Charron Reed, and her husband Jim, and her sisters, Evelyn Girouard and Claire Belval. She will also be missed by her fourteen grandchildren, Michelle, Lara, Rick, Chris, Tim, Matthew, Kathryn, Elizabeth, Andrew, Brian, Meghan, Kevin, Justin, and Sarah, and her thirteen great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother Henry Charron and her sister, Janet Bertulis.

Lucille’s family would like to thank her caregivers, Donna Evans and Dianne Lappin, and VITAS Innovative Hospice Care, their exceptional care and compassion.

Arrangements – Friends may greet Lucille’s family to celebrate her life at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main St., on Monday, March 20, 2017 from 5:00-7:00 PM. On Tuesday, March 21, 2017, her funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 9:15AM for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 am in St. Bridget Church, 175 Main St., Cheshire. Interment will follow in St. Bridget Cemetery, Higgins Rd. At the request of his family, contributions may be made to VITAS Innovative Hospice Care, 199 Plank Road, Middlebury, CT 06762-1833.
