Louise Mastriano

Waterbury ' Louise R. Mastriano, 98, formerly of Waterbury passed away Saturday January 10, 2009 at the Highlands Health Care in Cheshire. She was the wife of the late Henry N. Mastriano.

Mrs. Mastriano was born May 1, 1910 in Waterbury, the daughter of the late Donato and Maria (Corbo) Ruggiero. She was a member of the First Congregation Church of Waterbury. She especially loved listening to opera and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Mastriano is survived by her son Henry Mastriano and his wife Janey of South Windsor; her daughters Louise "Bunny' Fisher and her husband Armand J. of Lakewood Ranch, FL and Marilyn Dabbo and her husband Matthew A. of Waterbury; a sister Elvira Ruggiero of Waterbury; nine grandchildren Kate Mastriano, Sara Eckstrom, Abby Mastriano, Christopher Dabbo, Nicholas Dabbo, Michael Dabbo, Michelle Lipka, Jennifer Rzewincki, and Jonathan Fisher; and seven great grandchildren.

Arrangements- Funeral services will be held on Tuesday January 13, 2009 at 11 a.m. at the First Congregational Church of Waterbury. Burial will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 5:30 to 7:30 at the Alderson Funeral Home of Waterbury, 9 Holmes Ave. at West Main St. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Congregational Church of Waterbury, Music Program, 222 West Main St., Waterbury, CT 06702.
