Lois Brayfield

Cheshire ' Lois Brayfield, 89, of Cheshire passed away Tuesday October 13, 2009 at Yale New Haven Hospital. She was the wife of the late Otto J. Brayfield.

Mrs. Brayfield was born July 6, 1920 in Cheshire the daughter of the late Richard and Edith (Webster) Frobel. She was a life-long Cheshire resident where she was very active at the Cheshire Senior Center. She was employed at the Masonic Home in Wallingford for many years as a Dietary Aide. She was also a member of the First Lutheran Church of Southington.

Mrs. Brayfield is survived by her son Brian Brayfield and his wife Valerie of Spokane, WA; her daughters Linda Gorman and her husband Ken of Clio, CA and Andrea Caliendo and her husband Michael of Southington; six grandchildren Sharon, Sarah, Shelly, Lisa, Alyssa and Monica; several nieces and nephews; and her special caregiver Carol Boucher. Mrs. Brayfield is predeceased by her son Loren; her brother Kenneth Frobel; and her twin sister Vernal Plummer.

Arrangements ' Funeral services will be held on Friday October 16, 2009 at 11 a.m. at the Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St. Burial will be held in Maple Grove Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be held Friday morning from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.
