Leona Bredickas, 90, of 94 Brubaker Road, Cheshire passed away Monday January 5, 2009 at The Arden House in Hamden. She was predeceased by her husband Edward G. Bredickas.
Leona was born September 19, 1918 in Shenandoah, PA and was the daughter of the late Isaac and Catherine Thomas.
Leona is survived by a son Edward Bredickas of Cheshire, a daughter Phyllis and her husband Frederick A. Sargolini of Hamden, a sister Sara Ragazinsky of Michigan, two grandchildren Linda Kozak, and Frederick Saragolini, and three Great-Grandchildren Christina, Becky, and Johnny. She was predeceased by six brothers, and five sisters.
Arrangements- Funeral Services for Leona will be held Friday January 9, 2009 at The Slater Funeral Home, 242 South Main St, Cheshire at 11 A.M. Burial will follow in Beaverdale Memorial Park, 90 Pine Rock Avenue, New Haven, CT 06515. Calling Hours will be held from 10 A.M until the time of the service.
