Kevin Wood

CHESHIRE - Kevin G. Wood, 63, passed away Saturday March 16, 2013 at the Hospital of St. Raphael with his family at his side. He was the husband of Roxanne Wood.

Kevin was born January 20, 1950 in Stamford, the son of the late George P. and Margaret (Egan) Wood. He was the Vice President of Bismark Construction in Milford where he worked for over 30 years. He was a longtime Cheshire resident where he was a communicant of St. Thomas Becket Church as was extremely active coaching his daughters Softball and assisting with Color Guard. He was a member of the American Society of Professional Estimators, serving as President for many years. He was recognized by the Society in 2007 as a national award winner and had also earned the title of Construction Professional Estimator. Since Kevin was a child, he enjoyed all types of car racing.

Besides his wife of 27 years, Kevin is survived by his daughters Kellie and Katherine Wood of Cheshire; his brother James Wood of Hamden; as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Kevin is predeceased by his sister Mary Ellen Tarrant.

Arrangements - Funeral services will be held on Friday March 22, 2013, 10:15 from the Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St. to St. Thomas Becket Church for Mass at 11 a.m. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Friends will be received by the family from 9:30 until the funeral procession leaves for church. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Thomas Becket Church, 435 N.
