PUTNAM - Kevin A. Trudel, 59, passed away Sunday, March 19, 2017 at Backus Hospital in Norwich. He was the husband of Elaine G. (Perfetta) Trudel.

Mr. Trudel was born July 22, 1957 in Norwalk, the son of Richard J. and the late Clare (Kenlon) Trudel. Raised in Norwalk, he was a graduate of Norwalk High School. He was a longtime Hamden resident recently settling in Putnam and was an Engineer with Mohegan Sun Casino. He was an avid Yankee and Giants fan and loved NASCAR. He enjoyed weekend trips to the Waterford Speedbowl with Elaine. He enjoyed fishing, working on his cars, and most importantly spending time with his family.

Besides his wife of 37 years and his father Richard of Norwalk, Mr. Trudel is survived by his daughters Christine Trudel of Cheshire and Heather Baber of West Haven; his son Anthony "AJ" Trudel of Manchester; his sisters Mary Leone and her husband Donald, Kathleen Trudel-King and her husband Robert and Julia Trudel-Watson and her husband Douglas; and his brother Gregory Trudel and his wife Terri; his grandchildren Saryh, Rebecca, Brianna, Matthew, Madison, Skylar, and Riley; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his mother Clare, he is predeceased by his son, Richard Baber.

Arrangements – Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2017, 9:45 from the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main St. to Church Of The Epiphany, 1750 Huckins Rd. for a Mass of Christian burial at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be Friday, March 24 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 417005 Boston, MA 02241.
