Kenneth Roberts

Southington ' Kenneth A. Roberts, 50, of Pondview Dr., passed away peacefully on Friday January 23, 2009 at Mid-State Medical Center in Meriden. He was the loving husband of Debra (Apisso) Roberts.

Mr. Roberts was born March 14, 1958 in Cheshire the son of the late Joseph and Genevieve (Stachowicz) Roberts. He was known by his family as a "great contractor" and by many as a very generous person. He enjoyed his home in Vermont, fishing, and riding all-terrain vehicles.

Besides his wife of 21 years, Mr. Roberts is survived by his daughters Stacy Baker and her boyfriend Mark Himple of Seattle, WA and Lindsay Swiatek and her husband Peter of Berlin; his four sisters Sheila Garry and her husband Randy, Sandy Thornton and her husband Jeff of Cape Cod, MA, Nancy Santagotta of Meriden and Joanne Cavaiuolo and her husband John of Cheshire; a niece and two nephews. Mr. Roberts also leaves behind his beloved golden retriever Kade.

Arrangements ' A memorial service will be held on Thursday January 29, 2009 at 1 p.m. at the Slater Funeral Home, 242 S. Main St. Cheshire. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
