Kathy Sigetti

PROSPECT- Kathy Sigetti, 35, of 23 Rek Lane, Prospect, died Friday Feb. 27, 2009 at St. Mary's Hospital, having fought a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her family and friends. She was the fiance of Robert Framski.

Kathy was born in Waterbury, Nov. 26, 1973, a daughter of Richard J. Sigetti and Mary Ellen and Bert Hughes. She was educated in the Naugatuck school system and was a 1991 graduate of Naugatuck High School and was an active student at Naugatuck Valley Community Technical College in her second year in the Criminal Justice program. She was a Prospect resident for the past 4 years, moving here from Naugatuck. She was employed by First Student, as a school bus driver and worked part time on weekends for Antique Limousine Service of Bethlehem and was a Hair Dresser. She had formerly worked at Blackies in Cheshire, with her Mom. She was a communicant of St. Vincent Ferrer Church, Naugatuck.

Besides her fiance of Prospect and her parents of Naugatuck, Kathy leaves her daughters, Jessica and Melanie Martins of Prospect; one brother Dennis Sigetti and his wife Rebecca of Naugatuck; one sister Michelle Hughes and her husband Gary of Naugatuck; her dog, Liela and several aunts, uncle, nieces and nephews, cousins, and her many cherished friends. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Katherine Graham and Larry and Grace Sigetti.

Kathy's funeral will be held on Wednesday Mar. 4, 2009 at 9:15 a.m. from the Alderson Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. to St. Vincent Ferrer Church, 1006 New Haven Rd., Naugatuck, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery, Naugatuck.
