Kathleen Gulliford

WATERBURY; Kathleen A. (Beland) Gulliford, 58 of Waterbury passed away Wednesday June 16, 2010 at Saint Mary's Hospital. She was the fiance of David Wiggin whom she will dearly miss and loved very much.

Kathy was born February 6, 1952 in Waterbury a daughter of the late Patrick and Ethel (Stevens) Beland. She attended both Waterbury and Wolcott Public Schools and was a graduate of Wolcott High School and had worked as a waitress and nurse's aide before becoming disabled.

Besides her fiance of Waterbury, she is survived by her daughters, Tracy and Sherri-Lynn, her brother, James Beland and his wife Leann of Wolcott, her sisters, Anne Leale and her husband Tim of Neenah, WI and Patty Byrnes and her husband Phil of Lake in the Hills, IL, her grandchildren, Matthew and April, her nephew Matt Beland and her nieces Elizabeth Byrnes and Melissa Marsella.

A Memorial Mass for Kathleen will be celebrated Monday June 21, 2010 at 10 a.m. at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception 74 West Main Street. Friends are asked to gather directly at the Church. Burial will be held at the convenience of her family in New Saint Joseph Cemetery. There are no calling hours. The Mulville Funeral Home 270 West Main Street has care of arrangements.
