Katherine A. Napoli

CHESHIRE - Katherine Napoli, 68, passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at Masonicare Health Center, Wallingford. She was the wife of Richard Napoli.

Mrs. Napoli was born December 27, 1946 in Stamford, the daughter of the late Martin and Katherine (Hogan) Leech. She was an exceptional Instructional Assistant for various educators in the Cheshire Public Schools for many years, touching the lives of countless kindergarteners and their families. Mrs. Napoli enjoyed the simple things in life, above all, spending time with her family and friends. She was known for her beautiful backyard gardens, her love of cooking, as well as her talent for arts and crafts. Kathy cherished all holidays, in particular, the opportunity to host her family. Her summers were spent peacefully on the beaches of Maine with her devoted husband, and poolside in her backyard, blissfully spoiling her three grandchildren with countless sweet treats.

Besides her husband of 42 years, Mrs. Napoli is survived by her children Kerry Scarice and her husband Tom of Cheshire, Richard Napoli of Naugatuck, Beth Napoli of Cheshire, and Jeffrey Napoli of Cheshire, her sisters Barbara L. Smith of Cheshire, Michele Martin of Trumbull, and Martha Leech of Trumbull; her mother and father in law, Rose and Charles Napoli of Southbury, 3 grandchildren, Ella, Owen and Gavin Scarice whom she loved dearly, and several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements – Funeral services will be held on Saturday January 17, 2015, 9:15 from the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main Street, to St. Bridget Church, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Bridget Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
