Karin Simpson

BETHANY- Mrs. Karin Elizabeth (Johnson) Simpson, 81 of Bethany, passed away early Friday morning Sept. 2, 2011 at the Waterbury Hospital. She was the widow of the late Norman W. Simpson, who passed away in 2000 after 50 years of marriage.

Mrs. Simpson was born in Waterbury, Aug. 15, 1930, a daughter of the late John and Jennie (Johnson) Johnson and had a Bethany resident for over 50 years, formerly living in Beacon Falls. She was a member of the Salem Lutheran Church.

She leaves 3 sons, Norman W. Simpson of Bethany, Jay E. Simpson of Beacon Falls, and Paul E. Simpson of Bethany; one brother Carl Johnson of Naugatuck; one sister Vera Gaudet of Bradenton, FL., and 5 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday Sept 7, 2011 at 10 a.m. at the Salem Lutheran Church, 14 Salem St., Naugatuck. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Salem Lutheran Church, 14 Salem St., Naugatuck, 06770-2710.
