Joseph Lampo

NAUGATUCK- Joseph Peter Lampo, 71, passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at Waterbury Hospital. He was the husband of Barbara (Amundsen) Lampo.

He was born December 9, 1940.

Joseph was a veteran of the United States Army. He attended Pace University where he graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in English. Joseph was a foster father for many children from the Department of Children and Families. He will always be known as an avid animal lover with a kind heart for all the cats that came to his door.

Besides his wife he is survived by three sons Richard and his wife Janet Boemmels of Stratford, Todd Boemmels of Milford, and Joshua Lampo of Naugatuck; and three daughters Danielle, Jessie, and Stephanie Lampo all of Naugatuck.

Arrangements- A service for Joseph will be held 1 P.M Monday September 24, 2012 at The Alderson Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St, 06770. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
