John F. Cahill

CHESHIRE – John F. Cahill, 76, passed away on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Catherine (Lyons) Cahill.

Mr. Cahill was born August 21, 1944 in New York, N.Y., son of the late John Cahill and Mary (Farnik) Cahill. He was a retired, self-employed film and television Property Master. He was a member of IATSE Local #52 Motion Picture Studio Mechanics.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Cahill is survived by his daughter Melissa Yonych. He will also be missed by his loving grandchildren, Emily and Sarah. He is survived by his brother Dennis Cahill, his wife Mary, and nephew Daniel Cahill and niece Kelly Cahill and numerous other nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was predeceased in death by his sister, Catherine.

Arrangements: Services for Mr. Cahill will be private and burial will be at the convenience of his family.
