Joan A. (Rangoon) Cummings, 71, of Waterbury passed away unexpectedly Monday December 22, 2008 surrounded by her children and dear cousin Mary.
Joan was born on April 27, 1937 and was the daughter of the late Harry and Elaine (Backman) Rangoon.
She leaves behind two sons Gary and Mark Cummings both of Waterbury, a daughter Karen Cummings Godin of Waterbury, a brother Robert Rangoon of Waterbury, two grandchildren Erica and Zachary, a cherished Great-Grandson Kenny, her care giver Mary Correia of Oakville, her Aunt Evelyn and Uncle Americo of Oakville, a host of cousins, and her friends and staff of Grove Manor Nursing Home where she resided.
Arrangements- Funeral Services for Joan will be held, Monday, December 29, 2008 at 11 A.M, at The Alderson Funeral Home of Waterbury, 9 Holmes Ave. Burial will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery, Waterbury. Calling will be held from 9:30 A.M until the time of the service.
