Janice Strunk
CHESHIRE- Janice A. Strunk, 45, passed away Saturday January 22, 2011 at Yale- New Haven Hospital. She was the wife of Erich G. Strunk.
Janice was born October 23, 1965 in Waterbury daughter of the late John and Margaret (Pekrul) Copes.
She attended Naugatuck Valley Community College where she received an Associate's Degree in Computer Programming. She was a member of the Cheshire Lutheran Church, and was employed at The Hartford Insurance Company where she was an Underwriter.
Janice will always be remembered as a loving mother and a devoted wife.
Besides her husband Janice is survived by a son Erich F. Strunk of Cheshire; and a daughter Maggie E. Strunk of Cheshire.
Arrangements- A funeral service for Janice will be held Friday, January 28, 2011 at Cheshire Lutheran Church, 660 West Main St, Cheshire at 11 A.M. Friends and family are asked to meet directly at church. Burial will follow in Cheshire Hillside Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Thursday January 27, 2011 from 5 to 8 P.M., at The Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main Street, 06410. Donations in Janice's name may be made to the Lupus Foundation of Connecticut, 270 Farmington Ave, Suite 218, Farmington, CT 06032.
