Jack A. Barrett, age 62, of Waterbury entered into rest on March 9, 2014 in Waterbury Hospital. Jack was born in Norwalk on February 2, 1952, son of the late Homer James and Martha Ester Blackman Barrett.
Jack lived most of his life in Redding before coming to Waterbury. He was employed at Fairfield Hills State Hospital in Newtown before his retirement a few years ago, and he enjoyed visiting his mother in Florida before her passing.
He is survived by his loving sister Robin Costabile of Hobe Sound, FL; his nephew Luca Costabile of Charleston , SC and his niece Janine Guernsey of Redding. Jack was predeceased by his brother in law Nino Costabile.
A Memorial Service for Jack, along with his burial will be held sometime in the spring at the convenience of his family. The Alderson Funeral Home of Waterbury has been entrusted with Jack's arrangements.
