WALLINGFORD - Howard "Ted" Miller, 81, passed away Thursday September 29, 2011, at MidState Medical Center.
Mr. Miller was born in 1929 in Baltimore, Maryland the son of the late Howard W. and Isabelle Butler Miller. He is a graduate of the Berkshire School and Hobart College. Ted grew up in the Waterbury area and was a long-time resident of Wallingford. He was a purchasing manager for EZ Form Cable Corporation in New Haven.
He is survived by his cousin Margaret Grevatt and her husband Skip Grevatt of East Falmouth, MA, his nephew Doug Grevatt of Danbury, CT, his step-son Ross Bielak and his wife Jennifer Bielak of Colorado Springs, CO, his step-son Benjamin Bielak, his wife Kathleen Bielak and daughters Sylvie and Tessa of Holliston, MA. He appreciated the friendship of many including especially Bob Foley and Bruce Blakeley of Wallingford, CT and his friends Tommy, Grace, and Dottie at McGuire Court where he lived.
Arrangements - Funeral services will be held on Saturday October 1, 2011 at 11 a.m. at the Alderson Funeral Home of Waterbury, 9 Holmes Ave. Burial will follow in Old Pine Grove Cemetery in Waterbury. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. Saturday morning until the start of the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wallingford Senior Center 238 Washington St., Wallingford, CT 06492.
