WALLINGFORD - Helene A. Nalband, 80, passed away Sunday, December 30, 2012 at Gaylord Hospital, Wallingford.
Mrs. Nalband was born April 13, 1932 in Waterbury, CT the daughter of the late Joseph and Eva (Warenecka) Kloc. She was a Registered Nurse for several years at St. Mary's Hospital before her employment at Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield.
Helene was predeceased by daughter Kimberly Ann and she is survived by two daughters Karen A. Nalband of Gulfport, FL, Nancy Nalband of Naugatuck; her three sisters: Cathy Cardinale of Melbourne ,FL, Phyllis Burns of Naugatuck, and Mary Rimkus of Naugatuck; her Granddaughters Kimberly and Elizabeth as well as her great grandchildren. Helene was a 37 year friend of Dr. Bob and Bill W. where she loved all in the community.
Arrangements - Funeral services will be held on Thursday June 6, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St. Burial will follow in St. Bridget Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation 74 Batterson Park Rd. Farmington, CT 06032 or to the American Heart Association, 5 Brookside Drive, PO Box 5022, Wallingford, CT 06492-5022.
