Harold Valentine

NAUGATUCK- Mr. Harold G. Valentine, 78, of 390 Wooster St., Naugatuck, died Thursday evening Feb. 19, 2009 at the Beacon Brook Health Care Center in Naugatuck. He was the husband of Jane (Siddall) Valentine. Mr. Valentine was born in Waterbury, Oct. 24, 1930, a son of the late Frank and Alice (Wooster) Valentine and had lived in Naugatuck all of his life. He was educated in the Naugatuck school system and was a graduate of Naugatuck High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Naval Reserve and a member of the United Methodist Church. of Naugatuck. Besides his wife years, he leaves one daughter, Denise Tanguay and her husband Renaud of Naugatuck; one son, Gary Valentine of Naugatuck; 3 granddaughters, Staci McNeil and her husband Alan, Traci Rager and her husband Rob, and Jamie Valentine; 4 grandsons, Sean Toth and his wife, Crystal, Renaud Tanguay, Jr., Gregg Valentine, Jr. and his wife Amanda, and Glenn Valentine, Jr.; and 11 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by two sons, Gregg Valentine and Glenn Valentine. Funeral services will be held on Monday, Feb. 23, 2009 at 11 a.m. at the Alderson Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. Burial will be in the spring in Wooster Cemetery, Naugatuck.
