Grace Texira

BEACON FALLS - Grace Regina (Regan) Texira, 84, Wife of the late John Joseph Texira, passed away peacefully Sunday, March 13, 2016 at Beacon Brook Health Center with her loving family by her side.

Grace was born October 24, 1931 in Bridgeport, CT a daughter of the late Joseph and Grace (Rudine) Regan and had lived in Beacon Falls for the past 27 years with her husband. Grace was a homemaker, loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Grace was predeceased by her oldest son, Joseph Texira. Grace is survived by her daughter Patricia Neves and her husband Tony, her daughter, Grace Barbuschak and her husband John, her son David Texira and his wife Mary, her daughter Cheryl Ganser and her husband Mark, her son Daniel Texira and his wife Jane, her son Michael Texira and his wife Suzette, her grandchildren, Dana Texira, Palmira Neves, Jason Ganser, Brooke Ramirez, Lt. Nicholas Macaluso, USMC, Michael Carroll, Christina Barbuschak, Meghan Texira, Travis Neves, 18 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Grace was predeceased by her brothers, Charles, Bernard, Christopher, Richard and Edward and sister Mary Reagan.

Arrangements – A Graveside service will be held on Thursday March 17, 2016 at 9 a.m. at St. James Cemetery, Cross St., Naugatuck. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. Memorial contributions may be made to an organization of the donor’s choice.
