CHESHIRE - Gloria Clinton, 72, passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at her home surrounded by her daughter and granddaughters. She was the wife of the late Charles “Chuck” Clinton.
Mrs. Clinton was born August 8, 1943 in Weehawkin, NJ, the daughter of the late Frank and Helen (Krasa) Babon. She was a longtime Cheshire resident where she was an active communicant of St. Thomas Becket Church. Mrs. Clinton was the Owner of Tours Incorporated for many years as well as being an active part of the Cheshire Kiwanis Club with her husband. Her greatest accomplishment was running “granny camp” for her grandchildren.
Mrs. Clinton is survived by her daughter Judith Theriault of Cheshire; her Sister Edith Halligan of Salt Lake City, UT; her grandchildren, Elizabeth of Denver, CO; Jocelyn, Jessica, Jacqueline, and Jolene all of Cheshire. She is predeceased by her Son, Kevin Clinton, and her Son-in-law, John Joseph Theriault, Jr.
Arrangements – Funeral services will be held on Saturday August 22, 2015, 9:15 am from the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St. to St. Thomas Becket Church for a
Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am. Burial will follow in St. Bridget Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Friday, from 5 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
