George Richard

WEST HARTFORD - George William "Teddy" Richard Jr., 64, formerly of Cheshire, passed away Friday March 7, 2014 at UCONN Medical Center in Farmington. He was the husband of the late Margie Richard.

Teddy was born February 4, 1950 in Southington, the son of George and Gloria (Rabideau) Richard Sr. He was a longtime Cheshire resident where he was the President of Suburban Excavators.

Besides his parents of Cheshire, he is survived by his daughters Kristen Giarratana and her husband Kevin of Southport, NC and Kellie Kelsey and her husband Jason of North Attleboro, MA; his siblings Mark, Kathy, Larry, Shelly, Greg and Eric; his four grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.

Arrangements - Funeral services will be held on Friday March 14, 2014 at 11 a.m. at St. Thomas Becket Church 435 N. Brooksvale Road, Cheshire. Friends are asked to meet directly at church. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire 615 S.
