Gary Jones

WATERBURY- Gary Everett Jones, 63, passed away Saturday January 1, 2010 at Waterbury Hospital. He was the husband of Dianna (Cordero) Jones.

Gary was born June 8, 1947 in Morrisville, VT son of Beulah (Paxman) and the late Everett F. Jones.

Gary was a veteran, serving with the United States Marine Corp., he was employed at Gaylord Rehabilitation Center as a Counselor prior to his retirement.

He was an avid Boston Red Sox fan and loved fishing.

Besides his wife and mother Gary is survived by two sons Eric and Jacob Jones; two brothers Terry Jones of Bridgeport and John Jones of Meriden; a sister Sandra Rapp of Waterbury; he was predeceased by a son Scott Jones, and a sister Donna Jones.

Arrangements- A Memorial Service for Gary will be held Saturday January 8, 2010 at 12 P.M. at the Alderson Funeral Home of Waterbury, 9 Holmes Ave, 06710. Full Military Honors will be accorded after the service. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Donations in Gary's name may be made to Disabled Veterans of CT., 35 Cold Spring Rd., Rocky Hill, CT 06067.
