Francis T. 'Frank' Lombardo

CHESHIRE – Francis “Frank” Lombardo, 88, passed away Monday February 22, 2016 at Miller Memorial in Meriden. He was the husband of Florence (Salvatore) Lombardo.

Mr. Lombardo was born August 20, 1927, one of nine children, in Waterbury, the son of the late Francis and Mary (Testa) Lombardo. He served his country in the U.S. Army serving multiple tours of duty. He moved to Cheshire over 60 years ago where he served the town of Cheshire as a Police Officer until his retirement in 1992.

Besides his wife of 62 years, Mr. Lombardo is survived by his sons Thomas of Cheshire and Peter and his wife Nancy of Cheshire; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He is predeceased by his son Steven Francis Lombardo.

Arrangements – Funeral services will be held on Friday February 26, 2016 12:15 from the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St. to Church of the Epiphany for Mass at 1 p.m. Burial with Military Honors will follow in St. Bridget Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 11 a.m. until the funeral procession leaves for church.
