NAUGATUCK- Mrs. Frances J. (Hainsworth), Klein, 91 of Naugatuck, passed away Tuesday evening, Oct. 19, 2010 at Cheshire House in Waterbury. She was the widow of Amier R. "Dutch" Klein, who passed away in 1991, after 52 years of marriage.

Mrs. Klein was born in Bridgeport, Nov. 5, 1918, a daughter of the late Harry and Sarah (Fairhurst) Hainsworth and was a Naugatuck resident since 1998, moving here from Interlaken, Fla. She was a retired employee of the Putnam Memorial Hospital in Palatka, Fl. where she was a Medical Records Statistician. She was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church. She enjoyed going to Bingo.

She leaves 3 sons, Amiel R. Klein, Jr. and his companion Lillian Berarducci of Monroe, Harry Klein and his wife Elaine and Al Klein of Interlaken, Fl.; one daughter, Jane A. Bekech of Naugatuck, with whom she had made her home; a former daughter-in-law, Betty Klein of Trumbull; two sisters-in-law, Marie Hainsworth of Milford, and Phyllis Klein of Stratford. She also leaves 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Harry Hainsworth and David Hainsworth, a son-in-law, John T. Bekech,Sr. and a daughter-in-law, Ann Klein.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday Oct. 23, 2010 at 11 am at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 318 Church St. Friends are asked to meet directly at church prior to mass. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. The Alderson Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 1004, Meriden, 06450-1004
