Evelyn Nest

CHESHIRE - Evelyn Brown Nest, daughter of the late Raymond and Helen Kohler Brown, died at the age of 95 on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at Bishop Wicke Health Center in Shelton, CT.

Evelyn was born, raised and lived in Waterbury, CT for many years after which she moved to Cheshire, Ct. Evelyn survived her husband Robert Tel Nest. She worked in Waterbury at an exclusive dress boutique, Freedmens, as a sales representative and truly enjoyed her job. Evelyn’s passion was fashion, shopping, sewing and was very talented in decorating, particularly her home. She loved reading, playing cards and especially enjoyed her bridge club. She lived a long, happy and productive life and is survived by nieces, nephews.

Arrangements – Funeral services will be held on Thursday January 21, 2016 at 1:30 pm at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St. Burial will follow in St. Bridget Cemetery and there are no calling hours.
