Evelyn Burke

WOLCOTT- Evelyn Burke, 95, passed away Wednesday July 29, 2015 at Wolcott View Manor Nursing Home. She was predeceased by her husband Patrick Burke who passed away in 1998.

She was born December 8, 1919 in Waterbury daughter of the late Raymond and Clara (Ryerson) Graves.

Evelyn is survived by her son Patrick “Butch” and his wife Joyce Burke of Angel Fire, NM; two daughters Nancy and her husband Charles Coviello of Waterbury, and Carol and her husband David Greenberg of Whittier, NC; three grandchildren; one great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Chester Graves.

Arrangements- Calling hours for Evelyn will be held from 5 to 7 P.M, Monday August 3, 2015 at The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Waterbury, 9 Holmes Ave, 06710. Mrs. Burke’s funeral will be held 10:30 A.M Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at the Church of the Epiphany, 1750 Huckins Road, Cheshire, 06410. Family and friends are asked to meet directly at church. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Garden Mausoleum. Donations in Evelyn’s name may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
