Evangeline L. Morris

WATERBURY- Evangeline L. Morris, 105, a former lifelong resident of Cheshire since the mid 1940’s passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at Cheshire House Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was the widow of Clarence W. Morris who predeceased her in 1989.

Mrs. Morris was born June 30, 1913 in Prospect, daughter of the late Walter and his wife Marion (Howe) Bullis.

She was a former member of the First Congregational Church of Cheshire.

Evangeline’s family would like to thank the Cheshire House staff for the care and compassion they showed during her stay.

Mrs. Morris is survived by her son Harvey Morris of Plymouth and his companion Judith Rinaldi of Shelton; daughter Caroline Chesto and her husband Anthony of Thomaston; a brother Harvey Bullis of Waterbury; and several nieces.

A calling hour for Evangeline will be held, Friday, May 3, 2019, 10 A.M until her service begins 11 A.M, at The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main St, 06410. Burial will follow in Cheshire Hillside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in her name can be made to a charity of one's choice.
