Esther Haywood

NAUGATUCK - Esther E. Haywood, 92, passed away November 6, 2011 at Beacon Brook Health Care Center. She is the wife of the late Daniel L. Haywood.

Mrs. Haywood was born May 3, 1919 in Waterbury the daughter of the late John B. and Clara M. (Anderson) Ericson. She was a resident of Clearwater, FL before returning to Naugatuck in 2000. She was a member of the Waterbury Women's Club and a member of the order of the Eastern Star. She was a member of Zion Luther Church in Waterbury.

Mrs. Haywood is survived by her daughter Carol Dickens of Otis, MA; her stepchildren William P. Haywood and his wife Frances and their children of Naugatuck and Daniel H. Haywood and his wife Barbara of LA as well as many friends.

Arrangements - Funeral services will be held on Wednesday November 16, 2011 at 10 a.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church, 1555 Hamilton Ave., Waterbury. Burial will follow in Old Pine Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Zion Lutheran Church, 1555 Hamilton Ave., Waterbury, CT 06706 or to the Naugatuck Visiting Nurses Association, 600 Rubber Ave., Naugatuck, CT 06770.
