WATERBURY - Ernest J. Fanton Jr., 56, passed away at his home on September 17, 2014.

Ernest was born on June 26, 1958 in Bridgeport, to Ernest J. Fanton and Louise Barnes Fanton. He is survived by his mother of Port Richey, FL; his son, Ernest J. Fanton the 3rd and his wife Jennifer of Wallingford, CT; his sister Kathleen Flaherty and her husband Greg of Cheshire, CT; his two brothers, John J. Fanton of Seymour, TN and Scott P. Fanton of Ft. Pierce, FL, and his sister Kelly Chekrygin of Port Richey, FL. He also leaves his beloved cat Alex. Ernest was predeceased by his father Ernest J. Fanton of Seymour, TN.

Arrangements – Calling hours will be held on Monday, October 6, 2014 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St with a funeral service at 7:30 p.m. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
