CHESHIRE- Erik A. Jensen, 44, passed away unexpectedly on Monday April 1, 2013 at his home. He was born November 26, 1968 in New Haven, the son of George A. and Cynthia M. Jensen.
Erik was a graduate of Cheshire High School, Class of 1987. Erik went on to graduate from Post University, Cum Laude, in 2012 with a Bachelors' Degree in Business Administration.
Erik was a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church, and in his free time he volunteered at the Senior Center in Cheshire. His friends and family will miss his big heart and keen sense of humor.
Besides his parents Erik leaves two sisters, Kristin J. and her husband Craig Bures of Prospect, and Karin Jensen of Cheshire; and two nephews Ian and Alik Bures.
Arrangements- A Service for Erik will be held at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 59 Main Street, Cheshire, 06410 at a later date convenient to the family. Interment of his ashes will follow in St. Peter's Memorial Garden. There are no calling hours. The Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main St, 06410 is assisting with the arrangements. Those wishing to make donations in his name may make them to St. Peter's Church, 59 Main Street, Cheshire, 06410.
