Elizabeth Carolyn Justice

SOUTHBURY – Elizabeth Carolyn Justice, 87, passed away on Sunday, August 15, 2021 at River Glen Health Care Center. She was the wife of the late Rev. Robert D. Justice.

Mrs. Justice was born March 30, 1934, in Clendenin, WV, daughter of the late Johnny and Ruby (Wilkerson) Short. She was a devoted member of the New Life Christian Church of Waterbury as a pastor’s wife, and was currently a member of House Of Prayer Church in Waterbury, Ct.

Carolyn, as she was affectionately known throughout her life, loved music and was a talented soloist, and a member of many choral groups throughout her life. She will be remembered by many, for her sweet kind spirit. Mrs. Justice and her husband loved the Lord, and served Him faithfully with a heart for all to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

Mrs. Justice is survived by her five children, William Justice, John Justice and his wife Lucia, her daughters, Lori Justice, Lissa Justice, Leah Goggins and her husband Michael. She will also be missed by her grandchildren, Christopher Justice, Cody Justice, Michele Ladd, Melissa Chapman, Paul Amato, Rhiannon Pape, Jessie Brewster, Adam Brewster, Amie Justice, Daniel Gardner, and Samantha Zolyomi, in addition to sixteen great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her four sisters.

Arrangements – A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 A.M., on Saturday, August 28, 2021, at House of Prayer Church 1245 Thomaston Ave. Waterbury Ct.06704. Burial will be private. There are no calling hours and The Alderson-Ford Funeral home of Cheshire is assisting with arrangements. A reception will be held immediately following the service.
