Eleanor Lucore

CHESHIRE - Eleanor (Casertano) Lucore, 91, passed away Monday February 11, 2013 at her home. She was the wife of the late Charles E. Lucore who passed away in 2010.

Mrs. Lucore was born April 22, 1921 in Cheshire, the daughter of the late Nicholas and Philomena (Perrotti) Casertano. She was a longtime Cheshire resident where she was a communicant of St. Bridget Church. She had worked for many years in the banking industry as well as with her daughter at Elite Travel.

Mrs. Lucore is survived by her son Dr. Charles L. Lucore and his wife Paula of Springfield, IL; his daughter Candy Nesbit and her husband Richard of Cheshire; her three grandchildren Taylor Nesbit, Jordan Lucore, Christopher Lucore; her sisters Gloria Drouin of Cheshire and Elaine Perrotti of Woodbridge as well as many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her grandson Alex Lucore and her brothers Joseph, Louis, Salvatore, Nicholas, and James; her sisters Anne Musto, Rose Fazzone, Mary Gaglione, Anntoinette Casertano and Sue Manzolli.

Arrangements - Funeral services will be held on Saturday February 16, 2013, 8:45 a.m. from the Alderson funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St. to St. Bridget Church for Mass at 9:30 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Bridget Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
