CHESHIRE- Edward T. “Ed” Erickson, 58, passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Nancy (Finneran) Erickson.
Ed was born September 2, 1960 in New Haven, the son of the late Edward and Arlene (Page) Erickson. He was a longtime Cheshire resident who graduated from Cheshire High School Class of 1979, and continued his education at Southern Connecticut State University. He was a professional carpenter who recently retired from the State of Connecticut.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years, his son Kevin; his brothers Keith and Robert Erickson of Cheshire.
Ed’s passions were cheering on his son’s swim meets, following the Boston Bruins, listening to Neil Young and enjoying an ice-cold beer.
Arrangements – A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 5pm at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home, 615 South Main St., Cheshire. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, from 2 to 5pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Beaverdale Memorial Park at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 825 Brook St., Rocky Hill, CT 06067.
